This is YOUR preschool, so please try to become involved by joining the Committee, helping on the Rota and support fundraising events.

How you can help

Please ensure that clothing is easy for the children to manage when they go to the toilet.

Let staff know if someone different is collecting your child and sign the relevant book on the notice board.

Please do not bring your child to preschool if he/she is unwell as you will be asked to take them home or come to collect them and allow 48 hours to elapse after the last attack of vomiting or diahorrea.

Notify staff if your child has any allergies, infectious illness or is on medication.

Please read the Notice Boards and all letters that are sent home

Encourage your child to contribute to the theme table.

Speak to your child's Key Worker

Take home your child's pictures and paintings as they will have worked hard during the session on these.

Do not worry if your child does not bring home pictures or crafts as this does not mean your child has not been working hard during the session.

Parents' Rota

We operate a Parent's Rota where parents are invited to spend the morning in the preschool. It is a good opportunity to see how your child is progressing, how the session is run and to meet the staff. If you are unable to help for the whole morning but can return to help wash up at 11 am, this is very much appreciated by the staff.

To help keep costs down we ask parents to bring in snacks on the day that they help, parents will be issued a copy of the Parent's Rota at the end of each half term, this will include ideas on snacks that you could bring.

Sharing your hobbies

We openly encourage parents to share their interests and hobbies with the children within the preschool.

If you feel that you would like to present, demonstrate, or guide the children through your hobby please let our staff know.
