Our Staff

All our staff are well qualified, experienced and caring people. They all enjoying working in Early Years and helping the children to play, have fun and enjoy their preschool experience. 
Sian Walker

I am the Preschool Manager and have 10 years experience of working in Early Years, I have a level 3 Diploma as well as qualifications in Safeguarding, 1st Aid and Food Hygiene.  I have also attended many courses relating to the Early Years Foundation Stage.

My favourite activities to do with the children are anything involving natural messy exploration.

Outside of the preschool I have a husband, 2 young children and a dog and I enjoy going for family walks in the woods. 

Sally Hickey

I have been working in Early Years for 17 years, I have a level 3 Diploma as well as Food Hygiene, First Aid and Child Protection.  I have lots of experience in all areas of child care over the years and the activities I most like to do with the children are stories and craft activities.

When I'm not at the preschool I enjoy walking my 2 dogs, going to the cinema, dancing and gardening.

As well as the dogs I have a cat and 2 children who are now grown up, but when they were young they attended Towcester Scout Hall Preschool.

Mel White

I have worked at Towcester Scout Hall Preschool for 12 years, I am a qualified Nursery Nurse and am the SENCO for the preschool.  I also hold First Aid and Food Hygiene qualifications.

I have had experience of working with children with additional needs whilst at the preschool.

I enjoy painting and reading stories to the children.  I love watching how the children grow and develop during their time with us.

Outside of the preschool I have a cat and 2 teenage sons who also attended this preschool when they were young.

Rachel Lancaster

I am NNEB qualified and have been working with children for 25 years.  I am qualified in behaviour management and have many years of experience working with children with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. I have training and experience in running nurture groups and parenting groups.  I also hold a Food Hygiene qualification.

I spent 6 years training and supporting learning mentors in schools.

The activities I like to do with the children involve arts and crafts.

When I'm not working at the preschool I enjoy running, yoga, netball, reading and watching TV dramas.

I love spending time with my family, 2 daughters who are 8 and 5 and our 2 guinea pigs.
